Your fics/arts/podfics are due in THIS SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY.

That's still plenty of time, though. I've finally updated the list of available betas, although I assume many of them will be working on their own stuff this week, they may well be happy to help if you need a beta (I'm around, probably, and could help.)

The real point of this post is:

I need to know - do we know who is on the High Council in series 1 and 2? I've talked to bagheera_san and asked the TARDIS Index file (which confusingly says that the High Council is tonnes of guys like a parliament, but I think we're working with a number around five). Narvin: yes. Brax: no. Darkel? Valyes? The TARDIS index file says no to Valyes, but yes to someone called Delox.

Any more for any more?

OK - everyone should now have an email containing their prompts. A bit later than I'd hoped, but there we are.

If you don't have an email (or a PM) please let me know. If you do have an email, please reply to it and let me know you've got it - otherwise I will panic and bug you FOREVER.

If you've been sent an email full of prompts that you really don't want to do, let me know, but hopefully I've selected something that you'd be interested in writing/drawing/podficcing.

Also - quite a few people said 'I will write anything except hard core sex/beastiality/incest/etc!!!'

GUYZ- nobody asked for that. All is OK.

I didn't consider this when I was writing the rules, but if it is quite acceptable to request podfic of a story that you didn't write (as long as the story you choose is Gallifrey fic) - which should open up that category a bit more.

Should you wish to take advantage of this option, please ask the author for permission before you nominate their fic. Thanks!

Signups for the Gallifrey ficathon 2012 are OPEN.

You'll find the sign-up form below. Submit your form, with the types of fic or art or podfic you want to create and receive, by Friday the 20th of January. After that, all the forms will be shuffled and you'll receive three prompts for fic or art or at least one for podfic from which to choose your project.

How to sign up:

1: READ THE RULES. If you have any questions, the answer's probably in the rules. If it isn't, leave a comment.

2: FILL OUT THE FORM. There are separate forms for art and fic and podfic, all of which can be copypasted from the text box below. You can request art, fic, podfic, or any of the above, and sign up to produce fic, art, podfic, or any of the above. You can make three fic prompt requests and/or three art prompts and/or some podfic prompts, but will only have to answer one (even if you agree to produce any of the genres). There are prompt guidelines in the rules.

3: SUBMIT THE FORM in a comment to this post. All comments will be screened, to protect your privacy and keep you all in suspense.

4: Your prompts should arrive by 23rd January (if not sooner).

As you may remember from this post, we're putting all the un-used morepolitics fic and art prompts up for general inspiration and claiming. Anyone can play at this point and you can do whatever you like with your pomrpts- if you write something as a result of any of these prompts it'd be nice if you linked it to this post or the masterlist, but you don't need to. Please also feel free to write new prompts in the comments (although potentially there could be another round of this next year - if there was enough interest - so bear that in mind).

Hurrah! And congratulations everyone. The first-deadline-masterlist is now complete! I'll update it as later pieces come in. If you are handing in your stuff late, could you please make a post on this comm so everyone knows that there's something new to read/look at? Everyone else - keep watching the comm, because clearly more stuff is coming.

I've given links to everything made so far to who_daily, so it should appear on today's edition. I've hardly seen any cross-posting, but do feel free to cross-post as much as you like - or not if you don't want to. I'm going to post links to the masterlist on various comms after this, so hopefully the flood gates will soon be open.

Extra special thank you to our wonderful pinch-hitters, neveralarch, pride1289 and (in advance) bagheera_san, but also thank you everyone, because before this -athon there was relatively little Gallifrey fic and art, and now there is quite a lot and that makes me about as happy as Narvin with a mind-probe :)

Hello all. Just want to remind you that Gallifreyathon fic/art posting officially starts tomorrow and continues until Monday the 28th.

I'll post a master list here tomorrow and all you need to do is post your stuff in your journal and send me a link, which I will then add to the big post.

I imagine many people will be aiming for Monday, but you can post as early as you want once the master post is live. If you don't think you're going to make the deadline, don't, as the guide says, panic. Just let me know so your prompter isn't sitting around sad and Gallifrey-less. I'm a very benevolent mod, and basically just want your stuff at some point, sooner being more preferable than later, but eventually more preferable than not at all.

If you didn't get a prompt email, I probably screwed something up, so let me know. If you sense psychically that I didn't assign you to anyone, again let me know, but I think I managed it, and only had to send one OH WAIT NO I FAIL email. I've tried to give people prompts they like (there was a spreadsheet), so I hope you find something that intrigues and delights you.

Hello all. Last day of sign-ups. If you've been watching the community and wondering whether you should or not - now is the time. Choose your destiny.

To everyone else who has already signed up, I said prompts would be out by Sunday, but I think I'll probably be able to assign everyone their prompts on Saturday because a) I'm not doing anything except trying not to spend money and b) there's quite a manageable number of (high quality) submissions. Looking forward the Gallifrey times ahead.
